Two full days of exploring and we only wish we could have stayed longer. From stunning temples and magnificent mosques to iconic monuments and breathtaking city views, every corner of this vibrant city had something special to offer.

We’ve loved soaking up the culture, history and atmosphere, while creating memories that will stay with us long after we’ve gone home. ❤️

A fantastic city, wonderful people, incredible food and so much to see and do. Until next time, Kuala Lumpur… thank you for an unforgettable visit. 🌴🏙️✨

Throw in 2 air trains, 2 taxis, countless steps through airports and two very tired travellers, and I’d say we’ve earned a rest! 😂

Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet! 😂😂 I thought I’d give you all a break from the endless holiday photos!

We’ve had the most amazing time in Brisbane. We arrived late on Monday and have been making the most of every minute since.

On Tuesday, our gorgeous friends Emma and Martin picked us up, and we’ve spent two incredible days exploring both the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. There has been so much laughter, delicious food, stunning scenery, and the most wonderful hospitality. We truly couldn’t have asked for better hosts.

Today we’ve spent our final day cruising and sightseeing around Brisbane, soaking up the last of this beautiful city before our next adventure.

Australia, you’ve been absolutely incredible 🇦🇺❤️

What a day on the Great Barrier Reef! 🐠🌊

While swimming and snorkelling among the incredible coral, we had a heart-stopping moment when a white-tip reef shark cruised past us — I nearly 💩 myself! 😱😂

As if that wasn’t exciting enough, we were also treated to the amazing sight of a pod of dolphins playing nearby. 🐬✨

The reef is simply breathtaking and full of surprises around every corner. An unforgettable day and definitely one of the highlights of our Australian adventure! 🇦🇺☀️

Day 2 – Ayers Rock ☀️🧡

A gorgeous day visiting the breathtaking Ayers Rock (Uluru). The pictures honestly don’t do it justice — it’s one of those places you have to see with your own eyes to truly appreciate the size, colours and atmosphere.

Uluru stands around 348 metres high, but what’s even more incredible is that much of the rock actually lies beneath the ground. It’s believed to be over 500 million years old and is sacred to the Anangu people, the Traditional Owners of the land.

The colours change constantly throughout the day depending on the sunlight — deep reds, burnt orange and even purple tones by sunset. Absolutely stunning.

We enjoyed exploring the area, learning more about the culture and history, and just taking in the peaceful surroundings. The weather was perfect too — warm sunshine, blue skies and amazing views everywhere you looked.

Definitely one of those unforgettable experiences that will stay with us forever ❤️

Day 1 Ayers Rock.

We landed in Ayers Rock today and had a lovely lazy day — a walk around the resort, some time by the pool, food, drinks and watching the rugby.

It’s a lovely 24 degrees here, so we’re in shorts and T-shirts ☀️😊 while others are walking around in full winter gear 😂

Day 4 Sydney 💙💗

Well, it’s our 31st wedding anniversary today!!! 💙💗

We’ve had a gorgeous day exploring the Blue Mountains — a visit to the Three Sisters, followed by Scenic World for a walk through the rainforest, then rides on the cable car, the steepest railway ride and the Skyway. We also finished the day with a trip to Featherdale Zoo.

The weather was awful, but it certainly didn’t stop us! Back to Sydney now for a gorgeous meal and a few drinks to celebrate 🍷✨

Day 3 Sydney ☀️🚌

Today was all about exploring! We jumped on the hop-on hop-off bus for a full tour of Sydney, followed by a trip to Bondi Beach.

Then it was off on the ferry to Darling Harbour for a gorgeous Italian meal, a drone show, and finally the ferry back to Sydney 🇦🇺✨
