This is really helpful as a way of explaining why cakes cost what they do. I know a few bakers who have had their prices challenged as "it's just cake" but it's more than just eggs, flour, butter and sugar

We've been out of action for a while but we will be back at St Wilfrid’s Christmas Fayre in a slightly different capacity. We will be serving mulled wine and hot chocolate to warm everyone up while they're enjoying the festivities. We hope to see you there!

No tickets necessary, open to the community. Welcome Father Christmas on the cobbles (12.45pm), visit his grotto where you will receive a present, visit the stalls and attractions, enjoy a hog roast, mulled wine and much more, all finishing with the tree lighting and carols (5pm)
