What a strange few months I’ve had😳
Since last year I’ve done the following…..
* Lost 4 stone ⚖️
* Discovered a new person morphing from the old one who lost herself bringing up 7 children and not taking care of herself ⛹️‍♀️🤸‍♀️🧖‍♀️🙅‍♀️
* Worn Jelly Shoes - memories from my teens 😛 🩴
* Tattoos - oooh, new addiction unlocked
* Bought - and wear - a lot - a hair enhancer - WOW - what a game changer for us snapping, thin haired women 😍👩🏻‍🦰
* Legs 🦵🏼🦵🏼- and arms 💪🏼💪🏼- out in summer - something I’ve never been comfortable doing before so I didn’t, but now; they’re out when it’s summer. I’m done with making myself smaller because I didn’t like myself, and even though losing so much weight in my mid 50s had made them looser,

* Microneedling - what a blummin amazing thing for your face 😲 My skin is amazing after every treatment. Just started and shan’t be stopping 😜💉
* Wearing my nice/best clothes EVERY DAY - it makes me feel nice, it lifts my mood, gives me a dopamine hit most of the day so why shouldn’t I? We’re not here a long time so I’m enjoying and making the most of every day 🗓️👗👖🧢👚🧥
* Leopard forever 🐆❤️
* Counselling with - sorting out some rubbish from my childhood 😢❤️
* 4 dress sizes smaller, shorts, sleeveless tops, silver skirts - that jangle 😂- clothes I enjoy wearing and not wearing to hide behind, not caring if people think my clothes are inappropriate for my age - my body, my choice 😜😍
* Toured France in our Caravelle 🇫🇷🥖- and slept in it for 2 weeks - it’s not a proper conversion so we freestyled - was great fun!
* Dancing - discovered that my new body lets me do things I wasn’t comfortable doing before 🪩💃🏽
I have arthritis in both knees and Achilles tendonopathy and my weight loss has been amazing on my joints.

Newfound ‘me’ at 55yrs old or midlife crisis? 🤪
Whichever one it is, I’m bloody loving it and long may it continue!! 😂😂

Happy New Year everyone!
Am hoping 2026 is better for me than last year 🙏
Haven’t been on here for a few months as life just got the better of me and my time wasn’t my own. Along with some health scares, my attention was needed elsewhere but I’m not going to pressure myself to post everyday so that will be one less thing to worry and stress about 🤞

We went to view some Campers today at then went for a walk in a lovely little village called Washington near The Ribble Valley, Lancashire, so pretty and peaceful but don’t let that sun fool you; it was bloody chilly; 2 degrees 🥶
We ended up legging it back to the car to eat our sarnies and grab a hot drink from our flask we took with us - how very middle aged we are 😂😂

This coat though 😍 soooo warm and toasty; have had it a couple of years, I have worn it reversible (it’s not 😀), although had to remove the labels, there’s no pockets and no buttons although I’ve have bought some to sew on the make it look like it’s ‘properly’ reversible 🤪
The walk blew off some cobwebs and don’t the rest of the afternoon watching to with the log burner on 🪵🔥
Back to work for me on Monday, and glad of the routine - and pay check - as I’m supply so weeks off at half term are tinged with despair 🤪😂 as I’m wageless 💰👎🚫

When you’ve been off work all week on the sick, no pay because I’m supply 😱😢, and no energy to do much except eat and watch movies - sounds perfect doesn’t it but for a busy ADHD brain, not doing anything has been excruciating 😂

This was the first time I got ‘dressed dressed’ (not leggings and a baseball cap 😂) to go to see the Consultant and have my lashes done with Jacq

My fave jeans at the mo, Barrel leg and a Vinted H & M suede effect blazer - can’t beat jeans and a blazer.
I’ve got a couple more medical appts to rule out what my Dr initially thought was a TIA 😱 then I should be home safe.
No 🚘 driving for another 3 wks but back to work on Monday - and boy do I need to get out and do something 😂 am not a good patient - poor hub 🤦🏾‍♂️😂

Just a Cowprint kinda day - this is the cardy I was talking about the other day - the child’s sizes from Next or any other high St brand for that matter I’d guess.
It’s an age 15 which translates to a woman’s size 10.

Is anyone else feeling a bit Bleurghhhh with this miserable weather 🤪
