Girlguiding in Lymm needs YOU!
We’re urgently looking for new unit leaders aged 18+ to help keep Guiding in Lymm going and growing!
As some of you will know, due to being parents of members, Lymm District has seen the closure of a Brownie unit (aged 7-10) this year and there is real potential for one of our two remaining Guide units (aged 10-14) to close very soon…
For every volunteer who joins us as a unit leader, it means we can keep units open and continue to offer spaces to the 120+ girls and young women who are waiting to join our units in Lymm!
What’s in it for me?
It’s not just about giving – you will have fun and gain friendships & fulfilment from volunteering with us! The experiences and training that you’ll gain through being part of a unit team, will bring personal challenge and the pride of achievement!
…and there’ll be plenty of new experiences – whether it’s taking a group of girls to a big event like the international camps or joining them for a fun activity like trampolining.
So, how can I get involved?
Register your interest by visiting the Girlguiding website on the link below or email [email protected]. You’ll be asked to provide your contact details and key pieces of information about your availability, and location. A local volunteer will then be in touch with you!
