It’s always a bit nerve racking. Cutting into a loaf and hoping it’s fermented well and cooked through. But when it does, it’s such a good feeling cutting into your loaves 🥰

We did it! The girls finally got a taste of free ranging the garden.

Lady, Ivy and Henrietta run over whenever we go into their run, they’re also the three who have let us pick them up and sat on our laps. So we were fairly confident they would come back to us and go back into their run without escaping the garden.

They have demolished a good few dandelions in the lawn and definitely trimmed down the grass. Here’s to more adventures for the rest of them too ✨

W're getting a sign!
This will go on the front of the house so people can be sure they're in the right place when they come to collect their order. Or just see it and get curious and stop by themselves.

Don't forget we are open tomorrow this weekend from 10am. There will be a couple of spare loaves of bread, and sausage rolls out. Possibly some slices of focaccia too. Perfect for a toasted sandwich while the weather is dreary.

Foraging!

We’ve been out this afternoon and had a lovely walk and picked up plenty of elderflower. I’m going to be making cordial this week and then hopefully an elderflower bake at the weekend✨

Slow mornings have changed my life.

So come and sit for a bit, grab a tea, take a breath, and relax with the girls and take a deep breath.

Slowing down has bought a different start to the day, away from waking up and rushing to start work, not having days off and hitting burnout like a train. Now I work less, I bake, I knit and spend time with my animals and I am happier than I’ve ever been. I get to enjoy time with my family without the guilt of not working.
