Home of fascinating bread which is made from only the best ingredients from local suppliers, for example our rye and spelt flour comes from Doves Farm-Hungerford, and all the remaining flour we use is produced by the local Wessex Mill Wantage. This mill is owned by Father and Son and uses only local farms around Wantage, this year the wheat they uses from the same farm we are based at - Kingsgrove

Farm. Our bakery specializes in sourdough bread of many different kinds, every loaf is handmade and proven many hours in wicker baskets finally baked on stone in our special steam oven.

Just a quick one to let you know our Kingsgrove cafe will be closed on Saturday 5th August, but open as usual Sunday 6th August (08.30 - 13:00).

Please do pop in and see us at our Wallingford Street cafe which is open as normal on Saturday 5th.

Apologies for any inconvenience - staffing levels have been impacted by sickness and holiday. We are working hard to resolve this and always welcome enquiries from those interested in cafe/barista part time/casual work.
