Many congratulations Samirah & Matthias who married at the stunning Northbrook Park on Sunday, what an absolutely perfect day for it as the heat finally dropped a bit! They chose to serve cake with canapés between the ceremony & wedding breakfast (a great idea in my opinion) so as well as the salted caramel and coconut & lime tiers in the display cake there were pistachio and almond & cherry cakes for 200 guests! Decorated with sugar flowers and small nods to their hobbies for a personal touch. And I had to add a picture of the magnificent resident peacock who is so totally unfazed by people!

Celebrating 300 years of this beautiful building at Burhill Golf Club. Serving cake for dessert for 200 was definitely a challenge in a heatwave so the bulk of this enormous structure was a dummy with cakes in the kitchen for cutting!
