A closer look at Amber and Richard’s wedding cake 💚

Three tiers of lemon, raspberry and white chocolate, and chocolate cake, finished with scattered pearls and bows in different shades of green to match their wedding colour palette.

Such a simple design, but I loved how the different shades of green made it stand out!

They chose a floral country garden theme, with lots of flowers throughout the marquee, it looked beautiful!

The design featured delicate lace detailing and a simple cascade of flowers down the front. One of those cakes that doesn’t need lots of colour to make an impact.

This wedding cake started with ChatGPT!

Amber sent me an AI generated cake design before our consultation. It was based on one of my previous cakes, but with different shades of green to match her wedding colour scheme.

The AI design featured ombré green bows and pearls, which I then used as inspiration to create the finished cake for their wedding day.

We’re all used to seeing AI cakes that could never exist in real life! But this shows how useful it can be for developing ideas and helping couples visualise a design!

This iced design featured hand piped royal icing, one of the most popular wedding cake styles I’ve seen recently, along with hand painted initials to make it personal to the couple.

Realising the only time I ever seem to post my face is consultation days 😅

Spent today meeting more lovely couples to chat all things wedding cake before wedding season kicks off even more over the next few months.

Face to face consultations do become a little harder to fit in during busy wedding weeks, so I’ll be doing more sample boxes soon for couples who’d still love to try some cake at home. 🍰

Whether we meet in person or chat over email/phone, I love hearing all your ideas and being part of the planning process 🥰
