Chestnut Bake Shed

We have been enjoying some bakes on our summer holiday while thinking about what bakes to do next weekend when we’re be back open ❤️

We’ll be back home Sunday evening and shed will continue as it has been with ice cream, cards and dog treats. Then we’ll be open for bakes next Friday - Sunday 10 am until 9:30 pm 🥰

We hope to see you all back ❤️

No electricity for the day ❤️ unfortunately this means the shed will be closed until it’s back on. It’ll be back sometime late afternoon/early evening so you’ll have to wait until evening if you want any ice cream. Sorry for the inconvenience 🥰

Thank you to everyone who still came by this weekend to get ice cream, it means a lot to see people still stopping by to support us any way they can. To anyone who came for bakes, I’m sorry won’t be any until first weekend of September when we’re back home again x

Don’t forget that we’re closed this weekend and the next one. Unfortunately! We’ll miss all the excited the people visiting for weekend treats ❤️ Instead I’ll spend my time planning out some new bakes for you all😋x

I've just topped the ChestnutBakeShed up with some delicious Stem & Crystallised Ginger gelato 😋

Christina and Jamie are away visiting family so there is no bakes but plenty of gelato and sorbet aswell as dog treats. If your passing by it's open 9-9 ish every day 😁

Trying to reach out to a customer visiting the shed around 2 pm today, woman with a kid❤️

I'm certain it's totally unintentional but a card payment was declined today for the purchase of 2 tubs of ice cream. If you think this may have been you please can you message me. I would really appreciate it 🙂 Thanks so much x

It’s very rare that payments get declined on the card reader but it would be super helpful to us to double check that the payment goes through and ring if there’s any trouble🥰 as a small business it does have a pretty big impact on us when we miss a payment or people underpay, every little bit helps us grow ❤️

SHED IS OPEN ❤️

Bit of a late post as I haven’t had any internet connection this morning 🥰
This will be the last day to buy any bakes until Friday the 4th of September! You’ll still be able to buy gelato, cards and dog treats while we’re gone (Shed will be in great hands ❤️)

We’re open!❤️

I was a bit overwhelmed when opening this morning and forgot to put out a note to call me if you have any issues (generally everything goes smoothly but just in case). If you see the post you can call 07469978464 if you need anything.
The doorbell works from my phone but there’s an awful delay on it making it difficult to have a half decent talk 😅
The shed responsibilities have been handed over this weekend so it’s still in good hands ❤️

Prices of the fridge items slightly changing as I keep altering sizes a bit so sorry about that x

Unfortunately plans have changed so I won’t be able to put out milkshakes this weekend 😞 They’ll be back when we’re open again first weekend of September ❤️ We’ve got help managing the shed this weekend since we’ll be out, so slightly limiting the menu. We’ll have a bigger selection when we reopen 🥰

Last weekend open (tomorrow until Sunday) before we’re away for 2 weekends ❤️ I’ll keep reminding you and put a note out to prevent anyone coming to buy cake when there isn’t any x
• The shed will still be open while we’re gone and freezer kept stocked by Abbyo's Artisan Gelato so please come visit anyway! Cards by Emily Bird Fine Art and plenty of dog treats by Happy Hound Artisan Bakery and then we’ll have some exciting new things on the menu once we’re back September 4th!✨

If it’s super warm tomorrow I’ll be rotating stock and only put a couple of each item out at a time. We’re out tomorrow evening, Saturday and early Sunday so I’ll leave my phone number out for people to call if anyone needs help 🥰
We’ll do some milkshakes tomorrow morning instead of Saturday/Sunday as we won’t be home to stock them ❤️
