It is our tradition, for my kids' birthdays, as soon as they can talk, I ask them what flavour and what theme they want for their birthday cake.

My newly 4 year old really wanted an Emoji cake. No, a pooh emoji cake. Dad thinks my pooh cakes are too realistic for comfort, so we managed to convince the child to go for a general Emoji cake with a subtle mention of the pooh emoji.
That was not the end of my ordeal. When I asked what flavour they wanted...."Pooh cake. No, p*e and w***y flavour. " It took some serious negotiation skills to come to an agreement: vanilla cake and crunchy raspberry buttercream.

Their 11-year-old sibling wants to be a professional baker, so they helped decorate it which makes it even more special.

Here is my 4 year-old cake, and it tastes divine!

Can't wait to see what they want next!

Today my 10 year old got surprised to a snake cake.
As per every birthday I ask the birthday child what flavour(s) and theme they want, and then I imagine something for them.

Last year though I did not make her a fancy cake as I was heavily pregnant and suffered with SPD so couldn't stand for too long. So this year I made a point to put a special cake together for her and she loved it!
Her face when she saw it was priceless ❤️❤️❤️

🍰 It is a 3-tier cake : one chocolate with chocolate chunks, one vanilla, one marble cake, and strawberry buttercream as per the birthday girl's request! The head is a big cake pop, and the whole cake is covered in vanilla fondant, and hand painted (and I had to put some glitters too!). Everything is edible and vegan.

Depending on how generous you like your servings you could get 20ish pit of this cake.

Those beautiful sunny days lately have inspired a zesty, fresh lime and coconut raw cheesecake with a raspberry layer. The creamy coconut mixes so well with the sweet raspberries and the zinginess of the lime!

Happy Father's Day!

This Dad likes hazelnuts and chocolate, so naturally I made a raw "Ferrero Rocher" cheezecake with maple caramelised roasted hazelnut, indulgent chocolate and hazelnut filling and an intense and sharp dark chocolate ganache, topped with extra crunchy hazelnuts!

The child is obsessed with Peanut Butter. It was his birthday a few days ago and he said he'd much prefer to have a bucket full of peanut butter than gifts...so I made him PB cake bites and PB cookies a dipped in dark chocolate, and to make the bucket even more fun, I added Oreos, chocolate dodgers, and vegan sweets.

Apparently I'm awesome....😏🤣
