Today is the day - our all day fundraiser for Cancer Research UK 🩷💙

How many miles will we cover over the day?

Timings are as follows:
12pm - the treadmill starts turning!
1pm - teddy tombola with Wrenthorpe Kirkhamgate Assist
1pm - face painting with Sarah
1pm - Prickly Pear Kitchen here with a selection of delicious homemade cakes and breads
2pm - BoKitchen serving hot food until 4pm outside
9pm - Music Quiz with the 2 Als (sorry adults only)

Plus we are bringing the summer feels back with all your favourite summertime tunes AND we have selected cocktails available for just £3 each!!

Late night creating ✨

As a mum of five you’ll most likely find me in the kitchen when the kids are asleep.

My partner ordered a tray of my classic Millionaires Slices, with him leaving early doors these were finished at 1am this morning 😆

Buttery biscuit, sweet caramel with a hint of Celtic salt and Belgian dark/white chocolate swirled on top.

Fun fact: I always loved baking as a kid, I once made my brother a tray of Millionaires for his birthday and every year following - that was his Birthday request, it became somewhat of a tradition.
I’ve changed the recipe over the years into something I’m really proud of. He’s back from his years of travelling soon so I’m looking forward to continuing this family tradition 💚

Prickly Pear Family Meal

•A full Lasagne, just how my Grandma taught me to make it

Beef and pork mince in slow cooked salsa, salami, mozarella, parmesan and fresh egg pasta

Serves six / two adults four kids / four very hungry adults

•Garlic Bread

Home made baguette style bread, sliced, with wedges of garlic and parsley butter

•A tray of Millionaires Slices

Buttery biscuit base, salty sweet caramel with dark and white chocolate swirled on top

Cut into 12, you always go back wanting more!

Both Lasagne and Garlic Bread will be given ready to bake with easy cooking instructions, there’s nothing like eating it straight from the oven!

Rosemary and Salt
Sourdough Focaccia 🌿

Over 24 hours fermentation, this helps break down the gluten in the dough, making this much easier to digest. A real treat for anyone, especially those with gluten sensitivities ✨

Best eaten when it’s made but also makes banging bread for sarnies the next day
