Anyone else got a random market hack they swear by? Ours is our crumb brush 😂😂

Sounds fancy… definitely isn’t. It’s literally a clean dustpan brush we use just for sweeping crumbs off the tablecloth 😂

We’ve tried mini hoovers and everything before, but honestly nothing works as well.

Form an orderly queue, because any bakers that are trying to keep their stall clean and tidy without a crumb brush are seriously missing out hahaha

We’ve had a little glow up! ✨

It’s been 6 years since we started Binns’ Bakes, and we can’t believe how quickly that time has gone. Over those 6 years, we’ve had to adapt and evolve with the times, and we felt it was the perfect moment for a little rebrand. Nothing too dramatic – we simply wanted our logo and branding to better reflect who we are as a business today.

When we first started, we focused solely on made-to-order sweet treats. Since then, we’ve grown to attend events, supply local businesses with our products, create cakes and bakes for weddings and special occasions, and, most recently, add savoury items (mainly our much-loved sausage rolls!) to our range.

We’ve broadened what we offer to keep up with changing times. As many small businesses know, it can be tough at times, and we’re determined to keep our little baby going!

So, this is us – El, Leanne, and our good boy Archie – the faces behind the account. We hope you love our little rebrand and continue to support us for many more years to come.

On Saturday, we’ll be at Lotherton, and on Sunday, we’ll be in Ilkley with a range of our freshly made sausage rolls in a variety of delicious flavours!

Our sausage rolls always go down a treat at markets, and we’re so grateful for all the fantastic feedback. That’s because we make them all ourselves, with no added nasties, fillers, or preservatives - just quality sausage meat, pastry, and flavourings.

Sometimes we get asked, “Do you still do sweet treats?”
And the answer is YES! ✅

Sweet treats, celebration cakes and wedding cakes are actually where Binns Bakes first began. But as any small business owner knows, you have to adapt and move with the times - and that’s exactly what we’ve done over the years.

Markets can often become oversaturated with sweet treat traders, and it became harder for us to really stand out. As El is a qualified chef with the experience, training and knowledge behind her, it gave us the opportunity to pivot and expand into savoury items too — and that’s where our savoury selection was born.

Our savoury range is now mainly focused around markets and events, but whenever possible we still bring sweet treats along too. Alongside that, we continue to take orders for celebration cakes, wedding cakes, occasional sweet treats, parties, wholesale orders and more 🍰✨
