⚠️For the Attention of All Cattle Vendors & Purchasers 🐂🐂

As of 1st July 2026, mandatory BVD (Bovine Viral Diarrhoea) testing comes into force in Wales. Prior to selling any cattle at market , Welsh cattle keepers will be required to carry out a BVD Screening test, performed by a vet. Logically, this could be done in conjunction with a pre- movement TB test. A negative screening test will then cover the vendor for a 12 month period.
