Since the day we opened, we’ve had an extra member of staff on the team.

They haven’t made a single coffee.
They’ve never come in early to help set up.
They haven’t baked or decorated a single cake.

They still get paid 16.67% of everything you spend with us.

This “employee” is our VAT bill.

A couple of small changes to our menu.

I've corrected the misprint on the loaded fries pricing. Hash Browns are no longer available and soup now appears on our specials menu depending on if we're serving it that day or not.

Development week

It’s been a different kind of week here at Starfish HQ. We’ve not had a farmers market free weekend since February. This week we left our calendar deliberately empty.

This has given us a rare opportunity to work on new recipes, reassess our bakery offering and work on our Halloween & Christmas menus.

We’ve also decorated for Halloween! Our cafe is now spooky and possibly haunted. 👻

There’s quite a few new things made in small batches for you to come in and try this week. The ones that work and are popular will stay on the menu and the others won’t.
