A beautiful sunny weekend for this lovely couple.

Christopher and Rachel got married yesterday at Partis Barns and I had the honour of making their wedding cake.
They wanted a simple but elegant styled cake. Round tier on the bottom and a heart shaped cake on the top.
With a wonderful selection of Red Velvet and Chocolate caramel.

I wish them many happy years together and a big congratulations!

I am open for orders.
Remember I need at least 2 weeks notice for small celebration cakes and cupcake/traybake orders.
As for wedding, as soon as possible is best but no later than 6 weeks!!

Evening everybody!

I've had a busy week and weekend!
A couple of my dear friends finally tied the knot and I had the absolute privilege of making their wedding cake and some extra treats of gluten free cupcakes and gluten free brownies!

Lucy MacLellan asked for a rustic style cake with alternative filling layers of Lemon curd and Raspberry jam with a vanilla sponge and vanilla buttercream, decorated with a swirl buttercream effect and some of their flowers from the wedding!

What a fabulous day it was to share with them!

Hi all I've had a busy few weeks baking away!

First my mums 60th and it was my sons 10th birthday! And my littlest baby's 1st birthday!
February is a busy month for birthdays!
Anyone else have busy birthday months?

Harry's request was chocolate orange cake and he went Go karting, so racing theme it was!

Chocolate sponge with Terry's chocolate baked in , with chocolate orange buttercream, with Terry's chocolate orange pieces. Around the outside is orange buttercream.

A very special Birthday cake order this week.

It was my mums 60th birthday!

She requested a lemon and raspberry cake,
So Vanilla sponge with raspberries baked inside,
Lemon curd and raspberries with vanilla buttercream!
Decorated in her favourite colour with some lily type fondant flowers (I was winging it)

Happy birthday again mum!
