Loving the new tin made these mini ginger cakes with a ginger drizzle and then a 4inch ginger sponge with a ginger buttercream both topped with crystallised ginger

One of the taste testers wrote me a lovely card “ thank you ever so much for thinking of us with the absolutely delicious cake top with the fabulous icing wow amazing what a treat to have a home-made cake. We have completely enjoyed every morsel!

Home-made cake just delivers the extra special message that you’ve gone out of your way just a little bit more than popping to the supermarket

New tin alert! 🎂✨

If you’ve scrolled through my photos before, you already know I have a massive love for baking cakes—especially in Bundt tins! This weekend, my new tin arrived, and I just had to test it out.

It makes six mini Bundt cakes that are the absolute perfect size. They're big enough to share equally between two people... or, let's be honest, just keep all to yourself! 😉

These are going to be perfect for little lemon drizzled cakes, chocolate with drizzle, or classic vanilla with icing. But since the sun was shining and I had fresh cream and berries in the fridge, I decided to experiment a bit:

Summer Berries & Cream: Filled the center with fresh whipped cream and topped with fresh berries.
Chocolate Ganache: A rich chocolate ganache topped with sweet berries.
Classic Icing: Traditional icing with a berry finish.
To top it all off, they each got a beautiful little fresh edible flower! 🌸

What's next? I’m hoping to find some cute little pots soon so I can serve these alongside a mini fruit pot or a homemade raspberry/berry coulis.

Testing out some baked doughnuts

Chocolate cake doughnuts dipped in milk chocolate and topped with sprinkles ✨

I’m thinking these are definitely a two-bite treat… which obviously means you could eat more than one, right? 😅

I’d love to hear your feedback on these because if they go down well, I might have to create a few more flavours ready for National Doughnut Day in a few weeks

Even though they’re baked, they still feel indulgent, chocolatey and just a little bit naughty 🤎

This weekends birthday bake was a lemon and lime sponge cake with a citrus buttercream and white chocolate frosting and decorated with cute little lemons

The only problem with baking the cake is you don’t get to see the inside or taste it, hoping Susan and friends lived the cake

This cake has given me some ideas for some future bakes

This is perfect for a small birthday party gathering summer of barbecue can be made as a tray bake as well

The weekly Bundt cake out for delivery, chocolate chocolate and more chocolate this is a light bouncy sponge that will keep moist for a few days due to the sour cream content and topped with a chocolate buttercream and chocolate sprinkles perfect with your afternoon cup of tea or coffee
