It’s time to meet Matt Watters, who takes on the role of Connor Murphy in our production of Dear Evan Hansen.

Connor is a character at the very heart of the story - complicated, misunderstood and leaving behind far more questions than answers.

🎭 MEET THE CAST | LARRY MURPHY💙

Next up, in our meet the cast segments… Gavin Dalziel, who takes on the role of Larry Murphy in our production of Dear Evan Hansen.

Larry is a father trying to navigate unimaginable grief in the only way he knows how. While Cynthia searches for something to hold onto, Larry’s instinct is often to keep his emotions buried and try to remain strong for his family.

But as the story unfolds, we begin to see what’s really going on beneath the surface. 💙

💛 OUR OCTOBER 2027 MUSICAL… 9 TO 5💛

This is an announcement that, just a few days ago, we imagined sharing very differently.

For some time, plans have been quietly underway for our October 2027 production of 9 to 5 The Musical, with a considerable amount of work and planning already taking place behind the scenes.

Following the incredibly sad news of Dolly Parton’s passing, we have spent the last few days considering whether this was still the right time to make this announcement - or even whether we should reconsider our plans altogether.

But the more we thought about it, the more we came back to what sits at the heart of this show: Dolly’s unmistakable music, her incredible songwriting and the legacy of a truly iconic performer whose influence reached far beyond the stage and screen, and who spent so much of her career lifting others up.

And so, rather than stepping away from a production we had already become so excited about, we want to embrace the opportunity to celebrate that legacy.

✨ In October 2027, we’ll be clocking in for 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL!✨

With music and lyrics by the incomparable Dolly Parton, this hilarious, uplifting and empowering musical is packed with huge characters, brilliant comedy and, of course, that iconic title number.

Our production may still be over a year away, but a lot of love and planning has already gone into it - and following last week’s sad news, it will undoubtedly now hold an even greater significance for all of us.

We hope that when the time comes, you’ll join us in celebrating the music and extraordinary legacy of a true icon. 💛

🎭 NOW TAKING TO THE STAGE!💙

Following the announcement that Dear Evan Hansen will now be performed at the Redannick Theatre, it felt like the perfect time to move our rehearsals from the rehearsal space and onto the stage itself!

With our new performance space confirmed, the team have been getting a feel for the stage, making use of the space and starting to see how the show will come to life in its new home.

✨ WE’RE BRINGING DEAR EVAN HANSEN HOME! ✨

We have some exciting news to share… 💙

Our upcoming production of Dear Evan Hansen is moving to The Redannick Theatre – our very own home! 🎭

While we had originally planned to perform at another venue, we’re incredibly excited to now be welcoming audiences through the doors of Redannick for this very special production.

There’s something rather wonderful about bringing a show that means so much to us into our own theatre – creating a more intimate experience where you’ll be even closer to the story, the music and our incredible cast.

🎭 MEET THE CAST | JARED KLEINMAN 💙

Time to meet Harry, who is bringing all the sarcasm, questionable advice and absolutely no filter to the role of Jared Kleinman. 😂

Jared might call himself a “family friend”… although Evan may have a slightly different interpretation of that. 👀

Quick-witted, brutally honest and somehow finding himself dragged into an increasingly complicated situation, Jared provides plenty of laughs - but there’s more going on beneath the one-liners than he’d ever admit.

A mum trying desperately to hold her family together when their world has been turned upside down, Cynthia’s story is one of love, grief, hope and the lengths we go to for the people we love. 💙

It’s a role filled with some incredibly tender moments… and Karenza brings so much heart to them. 🥹

Alana is the girl who’s on every committee, involved in every project and probably already has the spreadsheet organised before anyone else knew they needed one… 😅📋

But beneath all that drive and determination, there’s much more to Alana than first meets the eye. 💙

🎭 If you've ever wondered what rehearsing Sincerely, Me looks like... imagine organised chaos, questionable dance moves, and far too much laughter. 😂

With our unofficial Dance Captain Matt (Connor) taking his role VERY seriously, Kieran (Evan) and Harry (Jared) have been well and truly whipped into shape... whether they wanted to be or not! 💃🕺

This number is as ridiculous to rehearse as it is to perform, and we're having an absolute blast bringing every awkward move, perfectly timed gag, and hilarious moment to life.

We can't wait for you to see it! 💙
