Thank you, summer ☀️
Now we’ve had a moment to catch our breath, here’s a big thank you for such a lovely, busy summer!
This one was a tough one, we won’t lie, but a really good one too.
To everyone who popped in and tried our bakes, to all the new faces and our lovely regulars a massive thank you. We really, really appreciate your support. It’s been a joy baking for you, even when our tiny bakery was hitting over 30°C!
The heat and humidity kept us on our toes, and our pastries weren’t always on their best behaviour once out of the oven. But there were plenty of classics, lots of specials, and so much we loved making and sharing with you. We hope you enjoyed them too.
A huge thank you to the team for all the hard work, early starts, and looking after each other through the hottest days. There’s a lot that goes into every bake and every busy morning, and I’m so grateful for everything you put into this little bakery.
And to our fellow hospitality friends, the restaurants, cafés, bakeries, food trucks, pubs, market stalls… a big well done for getting through it too. Hot kitchens, long shifts, and a lot of sweaty aprons. We hope you’ve had a chance to put your feet up. We made it!
Thank you for showing up, telling your friends, and making our little bakery part of your day. It means a lot to us.
