Hello Everyone The Old Bakery Studios is throwing open its doors once again! You are invited to see inside the lovely historic building which is now home to over 30 artists, designers, photographers, well being practitioners, architects....you name it we've got it!

We are having a party on Friday 23rd Sept to kick start the weekend- the event will run over 24th and 25th. We would love to see you at the party (please see invite attached) otherwise you can come at your leisure.

A few of us in the building are taking part in the MY24 independent retail event, which promotes small businesses in Truro and will be running from 17th Sept for 24 days. Look out for balloons around town and a treasure map!! (more on that in a later message)

Garden Design by Rachel Damerell : 'Painting with plants' is how I describe my approach to garden design, transforming outdoor spaces into three dimensional art works that change with the seasons. There are thousands of plants suitable for gardens , many of them little known treasures. The flower pictured here is a Mecanopsis - the large blue poppy originating from the Himalayas. It is happily flowering in my garden as I write.... want one ???

I shall be at my studio during the 'Open Studios Cornwall 2011' week and look forward to meeting people who would like to learn more about the garden design process.
