We've been so blessed to have such a wondeful loyal customer base, that you've also kept us busy with festive baking. The last of our bespoke rich fruit cakes and 'secret' recipe plum puddings with our homemade Cornish Sloe Gin are ready to be delivered. With just orders for mince pies left to be delivered fresh the week of Christmas we're pretty much wrapped up! Apologies for not posting in the recent months, but we are still here, still baking and cooking. Recently we've also had the privilege of catering for some very special events, which has been really exciting for us and also kept us very busy 🙏

Sometimes we get to make a cake not to fulfil an order but because we want to. This cake is for the super special Oakley Knight. Some of you will remember him from the cafe. Always on hand to help us out and when I injured my knee he stepped straight in every week to help Lisa with deliveries during covid, there were times we literally couldn’t have done it without him. We know he’s not hugely into cake but he does love lemon drizzle. Sponges have been soaked in lemon syrup with lemon icing and loaded with his favourite sweets. We hope you have the best birthday Oakley. Happy 18th 🎉

We apologise for our quietness recently, with one thing and another and some very special and much needed family time we just haven't had time to post.
Rest assured though we have been super busy, baking lots of celebration cakes, brownies and cupcakes.
As always we are truly grateful for all the business that comes our way and feel blessed to have some very loyal customers.
Our August cake diary is now full so if you are thinking about cake please get in touch early to avoid disappointment. We love to try and accommodate all enquiries and early booking is advisable.

It's always a privilege to be asked to bake and create a wedding cake. We take so much pride in all we do and weddings are no exception. From the initial consultation with the bride (and groom sometimes) to sourcing inspiration, design and the finest ingredients. Wedding cakes take time and need passion to deliver and yesterday we hope we did just that.
This two tier cake comprised of a delicious three layer tier of lemon sponge with homemade lemon curd and zesty lemon buttercream. The top tier a traditional vanilla with raspberry conserve and vanilla bean buttercream. We also supplied lemon tray/sheet cakes for cutting, lemon with homemade lemon curd and edible Cornish gorse.
The stunning flowers were supplied by the talented brides florist Flowers With M (Lisa was in her element!)
We loved being asked to be part of this special day ❤ Congratulations Cat & Joe xx
