COOKI BACK IN THE BIG SMOKE 🏙️🍪

It’s been a tough, tough week. Work wise and personally - and if I'm being truthful, it’s left me with a lot of uncertainty about what the future looks like.

But I'm staying positive, taking things one day at a time and bringing Cooki back to its roots. 🫶

Greenwich will always feel like home, and there’s something pretty special about seeing a Cooki back here again.

I might not know exactly what the next chapter looks like yet, but Cooki isn’t finished. Maybe we’re just figuring out what it’s supposed to become next. 👀🍪

Today we packed up the car and delivered Cooki across Ayrshire + Glasgow, dropped off our first GF/VG wholesale orders and handed out a LOT of samples along the way 👀

Just a few days ago, our business changed pretty much overnight due to circumstances completely out of our hands. Luckily, wholesale was already something we'd been quietly working on behind the scenes - we just didn't expect it to become such a big part of Cooki quite so quickly 😂

The support we've had from other local businesses since then has honestly kept Cooki morale very high. From placing orders, accepting samples, sharing our posts, recommending us to other businesses, or simply being excited to see what we're doing next - I'm so grateful. 🤍

And the interest we've had today from some incredible businesses has made our first day back feel pretty exciting.

So... Cooki is officially back on the road. 🚗🍪

COOKI IS BACK IN THE WILD 🍪

Tomorrow our GF/VG wholesale range is hitting some new shelves 👀 across Ayrshire + Glasgow.

If you own a café, farm shop or restaurant and you're looking for a GF/VG option for your cake cabinet, we have a few wholesale spaces opening up this month.

The end of our little pink shop chapter 🥹🩷🍪

I genuinely don't know where to start other than THANK YOU.

This weekend you absolutely showed up for us.

Nearly 600 cookies. Around 350 iced drinks, more pantry bits than I can even count. Cleared my shelves of matcha bags + starter kits 👀 so many of you worried about where to go for your next matcha fix.

You really said “don't worry, we'll help you empty Cooki” 😂

You've seen me laugh, cry, get completely overwhelmed and at one point accidentally wipe my tears away with Nutella. Literally. 😭😂

This has all happened incredibly quickly. Closing the shop wasn't a decision I made lightly and, if I'm honest, I don't think I've actually had time to process any of it yet.

But the love you've shown Cooki over these last few days has been something I'll never forget. Seeing the queues, familiar faces, people travelling to see us one last time and watching you clear us out over and over again was pretty special.

So that's it.

The lights are off, the keys are handed back and our little pink shop chapter is officially over. 🥹

I'm going to give myself a minute now and prepare for this all to hit me like a brick wall 😂 Take some time, reset and figure out what the next version of Cooki looks like.

Although we all know I like to be busy 👀 so don't expect me to disappear for too long.

This isn't goodbye to Cooki.

Just goodbye to our little pink shop. 🩷

The last batch 🥹🍪

What happened today was absolutely WILD.

40+ of you waiting when we opened, banana bread gone within 30 minutes, 200 cookies + around 150 drinks later… and we were completely sold out by 12:30 😭

I've just left the shop at 5pm after rolling every single Cooki ready to do it all one last time tomorrow.

So please excuse the sweaty mess 😂 these are them…

Also apologies to anyone who witnessed me randomly crying today hahaha. I was SO overwhelmed by the amount of love you've shown us. I genuinely can't put into words how much it means 🤍

Tomorrow we turn the lights on one final time.

We're very soon introducing a self-serve mini Cooki Pantry at Ember, so you'll still be able to grab your Cooki favourites after class 👀
