The brief was “chocolate cake, that looks like a tree stump and has potion bottles on it” and I think I pulled it off! Chocolate fudge cake, chocolate ganache, chocolate bark and sugar paste potions for this party cake! As I’m getting ready to head back to my day job soon post maternity leave I figured I should pop a few of the bakes I’ve done whilst off up on here. Baking cakes for the people I love is such an honour. Tom reached out to arrange a cake for Jenny and suggested a LOTR theme. The ring was the first discussion point but I won’t lie, I knew my Elvish script wasn’t going to pass the birthday girl’s discerning eye 🤣 so we settled on this vanilla, brown butter and salted caramel hobbit hole instead 🥰 happiest of birthdays thank you for being such an amazing friend
