Since the ice-age, rocks and gravel have been swirling around on the riverbanks and formed big potholes.
Today the river is dammed and the potholes and river make out a natural waterpark. On hot days the potholes become almost like hot pools, heated by the rocks and surrounding mountains. Today was (unfortunately) not one of those days!!
We have decided that the Norwegians are pretty hard core when it comes to lake/fjord/pot hole swimming.
We could barely get beyond the knees! 😂
