Today we delivered our first ever wedding cake and it's totally gluten free :) credit for the figures go to the brides Grandmother who also made a gluten free fruit cake that formed part of the top tier.

The base tier is a gluten free chocolate cake, the middle and lower half of the top tier are gluten free vanilla sponges. All roses are fully edible as they are Sugarpaste only (no flower paste).

2016 hasn't been as great as some years so it is with great regret we will be putting JPN Bakeries into a dormant state until we get back on our feet! We'll be delivering our final cake on 7th Jan but won't be taking any new orders for a while. Thank you to all of our clients from the past year, we'll be back!

Tonight we're working on Gypsophila bunches for the cake. Each piece of wire is cut into 4, then the end of each short wire is bent before a small flower can be added. The small pile have been bent the larger pile left to do!
