Afternoon everyone 😊

Firstly I just want to thank everyone for the coffee shop recommendations at the weekend, I had a great 2 days visiting 4 different coffee shops its very interesting to see other people's set ups and it makes me so excited to get all our changes finished 😊 Secondly thank you to everyone thats popped in today😘 going into a new week is always a little daunting never knowing how the week will turn out and the pressure is all the more evident when you have a bank holiday as we are already 1 day down 🙈 this week is a big week as finally 1 of our renovation jobs gets finished and I cant wait to see the end result, if you were ever thinking of popping in to see what we are all about I'd be grateful to see you all this week as big jobs mean big bills 😫 but I'm hoping it'll be worth it 🤞 and then we can move on to the next big job......If you've been in to visit us before you'll know we have a selection of board games/cards/colouring etc as here we encourage everyone to put down technology and play a game together, we love seeing those getting competitive and enjoying time together over a coffee and a bit of fun, this weekend I've added to our collection and we have NEW GAMES no here to play 😘 It's not just about being an average coffee shop for us 💗 55 sherwell valley road chelston torquay 🙏 COME SEE US THIS WEEK and enjoy a coffee and game 😘

I've had a conversation with someone today that has mentioned they think my bakery has too much literature/leaflets/posters regarding su***de and mental health.....bit of a back story......my husband took his own life 7 years ago destroying mine and my 3 childrens lives, mental health services are shockingly crap and I will forever shout from the rooftops about any support I know of and I will forever be there for ANYONE that needs someone in their time of crisis, if I can save 1 life and a family going through what we have then it'll forever be worth it, su***de is such a taboo subject, it makes people feel uncomfortable and mental health isnt talked about enough and this is something that is wrong with society, surely the more we talk about it and the more services/support gets better then statistics of su***de will hopefully make better reading 🤞🤞 so this evening for those of you that have entered my bakery is there too much literature/su***de/mental health leaflets/posters displayed?? Does it put you off visiting us?? Please be honest and let me know below👇 i cant tell you how s**t this makes me feel 😢💔 ***de # ***deawareness

So over the next few days I'm on a bit of a research mission and I'm looking for recommendations of coffee shops/cafes/bakeries that you think are amazing and deserve a visit, please let me know below which ones should be on my list👇👇 I've been to alot in the torbay area so I'm open to going further afield 🙏 I'm getting close to our renovations and decorating being finished which means a NEW MENU is coming soon👀 along with NEW drinks for autumn/winter 👌 Massive thank you to everyone that popped in today it was a busy day and to those of you that had a new flavour pasty i hope you enjoyed it 😋
