Updated decoration to 50th birthday cake... more purple required!

50th birthday cake, plain sponge with buttercream and strawberry jam filling. Covered in fondant icing. Bottom tier has purple royal icing swirls and top tier has quilt effect with purple royal icing dribble effect and lilac meringues.

Emily and Gez Gold's Wedding Cake: 3 tier stacked cakes with sugar-paste roses; Top tier Lemon Madiera with Lemon curd filling, middle tier Vegan chocolate with chocolate cream filling, bottom tier Plain Madiera with Jam and 'buttercream' filling, all dairy free.

I had the pleasure of providing a 'surprise' cake for my friends and neighbours wedding day. As you may have surmised, they live on a boat!

Not posted for a while. I sometimes forget to take pictures of cakes I've made! This is the most recent one. A Madeira cake with raspberry jam and buttercream filling. Based on a 1980's BBC Micro with cube monitor. The cube is 6" square to give you an idea of size.
