A little note on pricing 💛

Some people might look at my prices and wonder why they are what they are - so I thought I’d explain what’s behind them

These are made from scratch in small batches, using quality ingredients, years of testing and refining recipes.

It also includes all the behind-the-scenes costs that don’t always get seen - packaging, electricity, water, cleaning supplies, insurance and the ongoing investment in tools and ingredients (which are constantly increasing).

And most importantly, it includes a proper, personal service from start to finish. I genuinely care about every order and every detail.

Every box is made with intention, not mass production.

It took time, patience, and a lot of piping

This one was just for us for Mum’s Birthday. A heart shaped carrot cake with lemon buttercream, swooshy fancy piping and some super posh sprinkles! 😆

Hi, I’m Laura - the baker behind Sugar Coven 🧁

I’ve loved baking for as long as I can remember, learning from my Nan - who was known to my friends as Cake Nan.

What started as a hobby quickly turned into “can you just make me…” - and before I knew it, I had a business.

A few years ago, I stepped away.
Burnout, undercharging, doing too much… all the things that take the joy out of something you love.

Now I’m back - but differently.

Sugar Coven is all about beautifully made, flavour-led cupcakes that feel like a proper treat.
Freshly baked, thoughtfully paired flavours, and finished so they look just as good as they taste.

This isn’t mass baking.
It’s small drops, done properly.

Perfect for:
