It was such a pleasure to set this one up for a joint mum & daughter birthday celebration. On the left we had a lemon sponge with whipped lemon buttercream & lemon curd filling partnered with a chocolate sponge, vanilla buttercream & dreamy chocolate sauce on the right. Mum chose florals for her side & little Constance at the age of 1 loves her farmyard animals so the addition of this cute set from a local supplier were perfect.

The Perfect Cupcake! If there is such a thing, but I’m pretty fussy when it comes to mine. Making so many of them over the years I hardly ever eat them now but found myself today sitting down with a cuppa & eyeing up the one leftover from an order. Not sure how you eat yours but I like to cut mine in half & couldn’t help but admire this little beauty so thought it deserved to be in the spotlight today😂
Light fluffy vanilla bean sponge filled with a decent amount of raspberry jam topped off with creamy coconut buttercream, just the right amount & don’t forget the fresh raspberry on top! And yes it tastes as good as it looks as every cupcake should! 💕

It’s been a bit quiet on here lately so just a quick ‘Hello’ 👋. We need social media for our small businesses but we all have busy lives & for me it tends to be bottom of the list, I’d much rather be playing with my grandchildren or making a mess in the kitchen trying new recipes than tapping the keyboard. So yes I’m busy baking behind the scenes I’m just really bad with this stuff ! 😂

Fancy a piece of cake??
Wedding samples have gone out today & usally any leftovers get popped in the freezer for the family but I thought maybe this time some of you may like to have some 🎂
I have 3 bags of 6 mixed flavour/size pieces available for collection today from me in Tiptree. Each piece is individually wrapped & can be frozen if you don’t want to eat them all at once! (yes buttercream cakes freeze lovely 👏).

Until my grandaughter came along I’d never watched a single episode of Bluey but now have to confess to being a big fan🫣. So when a customer asked for this cake I had to do it!
A light lemon sponge filled with buttercream & lemon curd just perfect for this little girls birthday💕

A favourite of mine from a while ago but definitely deserves to be on show again!
I don’t get asked to make alot of fondant covered cakes as buttercream or ganache is most popular nowadays but this was a request for a special mum & the addition of sugar crafted roses from Bespoke sugarcraft just made this cake 💕
