Brilliant service , commercial van went down this evening so we panicked a bit to get our deliveries moving again , nothing too much hassle for Leigh , superb and got us back on the road again .

Any mechanical issues highly recommended, we use him for an our 3 vans and personal vehicle . 5* service

Exciting news!

As you know we are opening Wednesbury next week so we are looking for x2 bakery assistants to work front of house in our new store.

Are you energetic , bubbly , have that black country traditional enthusiasm well this job could be for you .

hours are 35 hours per week, minimum wage, full time 8-3 , Mon to Friday ( with the occasional Saturday if needed ?

ideally we would need to get you in this week for a trial shift at great bridge location for a hour to see if you meet the criteria so flexibility is essential.

"its different everyday , not everyday is the same there is always something different. because you are working close with the colleague's , the banter is really enjoyable".

what do you do in spare time?
listen to music , draw.

how are you finding learning how to scratch bake ?
enjoyable , its very high paced environment, I'm actually learning how to mould the secret way of bake my day now.

"i enjoy getting in early and leaving early when everyone is on the way to work , i love the smell of bread you cant beat it ".

" we have a really good team here, everyone grafts, we have the same goal of making amazing bread".

" i am a first dan in mixed martial arts "

What does it take to become a baker ?
it takes a lot of willingness to learn, patience , and the ability to take in a lot of information fast. organisation is massive in this trade.

what makes working at bake my day enjoyable ?
team morale is great, working environment is key to sorting out big orders a challenge is what i enjoy.

what is a interesting fact about yourself.
I served in the army for 12 years, i have a purple belt in Brazilian ju jitsu.

what do you do in your spare time?
I go to the gym , and relaxing.

this week we are doing segments on our team so you can get to know them a little bit better. first up is

How long have you been a confectioner ?
" I've been a confectioner for 16 years "

What does it take to become a confectioner ?
" a lack of sleep if I'm honest , however it can be such a rewarding career, I like to express myself in my cakes." my passion for baking and confectionery is also done at home with occasional cakes for events".

what makes it enjoyable to work for bake my day ?
"It can be really fast paced sometimes , with big orders coming in, i enjoy the challenge. The team are great, we have a really good working environment".

what do you do for fun?
"I am very family orientated , I love being around my family".
