Phew! We did it! 🍾

When the power went off at 7:45am, we thought we might just be coming with bread as the other bakes were proving on the rack.

Thanks to my boys we were able to run on the generator!

Needless to say it’s feet up and 🍷

Thank you so much for turning out in your droves again, for telling your friends to pop in, and for waiting so patiently. The best big bakery fam. 🫶🏼

If you’re a longtime follower you may notice I’m posting less on social media lately…except for Friday night panic/bombardment reminding everyone we’ll be there 😅

Truthfully, I’ve just been trying to spend less time online - and valuing time offline. Baking, writing, being present, and enjoying the ones I’m with - all the good stuff.

The best part of LOAF has never been social media anyway. It’s the chats with the locals around pre-order time early in the week, then at the counter on Saturdays.

And thank you, as always, for being so patient and good spirited on Saturday when we arrived right at opening time - haven’t cut it that fine in a while! 🙈

Bank holiday weekend and I genuinely didn’t know what to expect… but wow. Absolutely mobbed.

Feeling so incredibly lucky to have such wonderful customers supporting LOAF.

Thank you for coming ‘on repeat’ for two years solid (longer for my lovely locals!), spreading the word, and keeping this micro bakery growing.
