4 layer 6 ich vanilla sponge with jam and my signature buttercream. Topped with flowers and stencilled to add texture. Making this in my kitchen on the hottest day of the year was one of the hardest things ever and im still not over the stress 😅

Back from London however im not back baking yet!

Got a really busy week at day job, couple of socials and then off to london again next weekend with a few of my girls. However, im still posting to remind you im still here!

I have 2 spaces left for my next class at 1pm 27th June. This will be my last class until September as I am fully booked for the rest of summer with either orders or holidays/family time.

Todays class did an amazing job! When I come back in September, I might mix up the flowers and bit.

24 pink and yellow cupcakes made up this mini cupcake bouquet that went out the other week for a birthday celebration. What better way to say happy birthday than with flowers you can eat 🥰

Do i do celebration cakes? Yes
Do i do theme cakes? Yes
Do I use ganache? Yes
Do i use fondant? No

I love doing celebration cakes, ill use buttercream as default and if youre having a themed cake, ill add cake toppers out of cardstock that are inedible. But I don't use fondant because I just hate the stuff and im not a fan of the taste. Personal preference, but I dont want to work with mediums i dont enjoy.

60 mini cupcakes to celebrate 40 years of marriage. What a milestone achievement 👏

Buttercream naturally is yellow so quite often, colouring it can be tricky. To get the colour I wanted, I mixed two shades of pink together here. Dont be afraid to mix colours together to get what you want. Just don't forget to write down what you did as if youre anything like me, you'll forget

Reds not normally a colour thats popular in our house but this one stole a piece of my heart ♥️

Hydrangeas and roses were the chosen flowers for this 12 cupcake bouquet. Requested in shades of red, cream, coffee and hints of pink to match this couples wedding colours who were celebrating a milestone anniversary
