Bakers gonna bake... I may be from London but the missus is very Welsh. Lucky for me I make ‘better Welsh cakes than Cardiff’ so she says. And judging by the teachers’ response in our boys school, maybe she’s right!

When I was young boy my grandad would often take me to China town in London. He would buy me these egg custard tarts that I couldn’t get enough of, even to this day I jabber on to the missus about how much I loved em. Then one day not too long ago I discovered this Portuguese tart that was basically identical to the Chinese ones. Thieving b*****ds I thought. But the custardy delights were obviously hitting the big time which gave me an idea in my loaf of bread. So after years of personal enjoyment I’ve decided to share these luscious tarts with the rest of the world, and become the worlds first ten-flavour nata bakery! So enjoy, and get your orders in sharpish!!
