June is “Forget Me Not“ for dementia and today residents enjoyed trying out a new piece of equipment and made badges for themselves and for staff. Everyone proudly wearing them to remind people of dementia which touches everybody’s life.

A quiz with a difference as Craig played tunes for us to guess along with their artists. Then we all joined in singing the songs. Well done to resident Christine’s son Chris whose great music knowledge knew the names of nearly all of the artists. It was a fun afternoon for ever singing along .

Well apparently carer Dawn likes to play in the park she assures us that her granddaughter was playing nearby but just out of sight 🤔

A change in the weather meant showers but that didn’t stop Gardening Club we just moved the location. Residents enjoyed planting plants and flowers in pots and baskets to adorn our Home.
We can’t wait to see them grow into lovely displays

It was a great afternoon with singing and dancing as Rebekah performed her Rock n Roll show for us. Residents enjoyed joining in with familiar song and bopping to memorable tunes.
