Gosh this was such a hard decision to make.
I am so so proud of the business I’ve built - it was really starting to flourish. But I’m also over stretched and burnt out. I always knew running a business, working a part time job and having children was never a sustainable load and after a year of making it through I had to make a decision which was right for me and my family. One which allows me to be the more present mum I’ve wanted to be.
And as our family grows (a little more than expected 👶👶) I want to be there for as many moments as possible. I’m not saying bye bye to cakes forever and this feed will remain here. One day the kids will start school and I might have the time to come back to cakes, but for now it will just have to wait.
I’m finishing my last cakes this week and then the ovens will be switched off and apron hung up.
Thank you to all my couples booked for 2025 and 2026 who have been so understanding and the amazing who’s been able to take on a lot of my bookings.
And a massive thank you to all my loyal customers, couples and venues who have supported me over the years. To you all I am truly grateful that you helped make my dreams become a reality 🤍
It’s bye for now, but hopefully see you in the future.
