NMV Sweet&Savoury We are providing home made cakes and appetisers for any occasion. You plan a party-we bake ❤️ Please allow 2h-1day for the response.

If you are interested in placing the cake order, please send as a message or an email to [email protected] .Be sure to include your name, the date of the event, amount of people you would like the cake to serve and any design ideas you have in mind. Sometimes I can squeeze a cake in on short notice, it doesn't hurt to ask. I ask for all orders to be placed 4-6 weeks in advance (or more) as I do book up very quickly!

🍰 TWO FRIENDS. TWO CAKES. ONE VERY SWEET 13TH BIRTHDAY! 💕✨

Because when best friends celebrate turning 13 together, surely one cake just isn’t enough… 😄
The first cake was made especially for their double birthday party — an elegant Origami French mousse cake hiding something rather delicious inside. 👀

🥭 Mango & Passion Fruit mousse
❤️ Raspberry confit
🍫 Raspberry ganache

Fresh, fruity, slightly tangy and creamy — exactly the kind of combination that makes you say “just one more little piece…” 😋

And then there was cake number TWO! 💚✨

This beautiful mint & gold Ferrero Rocher cake was made for the family celebration — because apparently the birthday celebrations weren’t finished yet! 😄 And really… can there ever be too much cake?

Two completely different designs.
Two completely different flavours.

But both made for the same very special Sweet 13 celebration. 🥰

And this is the part I always love most — knowing that something made in my kitchen becomes a little part of someone else’s memories. ❤️

🌈 WHEN THE CUSTOMER SAYS “YOU’VE MADE ME CRY”… I’M ASSUMING THOSE ARE THE GOOD TEARS. 😂🥹💗

Sunday morning started with this little beauty. And yes… EVERYTHING you see on this cake is edible. 👀
The rainbow, the sun, all those little details and even the flowers 🌼 — with some of the flowers actually made from meringue.

And underneath all that colour? 😋
🤍 Milky Girl — delicate thin layers with that beautiful creamy filling.

Then I sent the photo to the customer… and got:
“You’ve made me cry.” 🥹

That message made my Sunday morning. ❤️
Because cakes disappear very quickly 🍰, but knowing I helped make someone's celebration a little more special? That stays.

And remember — your ❤️, comments and shares won't turn me into a multimillionaire 😂💰, but they DO show me that all these hours creating little edible details are worth it.

🍫 CHOCOLATE SALAMI… OR AS MANY OF US KNOW IT — TINGINYS! 🇱🇹

It might have a slightly strange name if you’ve never tried it before 😄 — but don’t worry, there’s definitely no salami involved!

Chocolate salami is a no-bake dessert found in different versions across Europe, traditionally made by combining chocolate or cocoa with butter and crushed biscuits, then shaping it into a log. When sliced, the pieces of biscuit inside resemble the white pieces in a traditional salami — and that’s where the name comes from.

In Lithuania, we have our own much-loved version — Tinginys, literally meaning “lazy one.” ❤️ The name suits it perfectly: traditionally it’s a simple dessert that doesn’t need baking, yet somehow disappears from the table VERY quickly. 😂

But at NMV Sweet & Savoury, we couldn’t just leave the classic alone… 😏
So at our Saturday market stall you can find our upgraded Chocolate Salami flavours:

💚 Pistachio Chocolate Salami — rich chocolate, pistachios and raspberry pieces.
🤎 Hazelnut Caramel Chocolate Salami — chocolate, hazelnuts and that gorgeous caramel flavour.
🍪 Biscoff Chocolate Salami — because Biscoff makes almost everything better. 😍

Rich, chocolatey, crunchy and VERY easy to become addicted to. 😂

🏋️‍♀️ WHILE MOST PEOPLE ARE STILL SLEEPING… WE’RE ALREADY QUESTIONING OUR LIFE CHOICES AT THE GYM. 😂

Our days start at around 3AM — almost every day. ⏰
By 4AM, we’re at the gym, pretending we’re full of energy. 😅💪

5:20AM — DONE! Energy recharged, heads cleared and ready for another crazy day.
Then it’s breakfast ☕🍳… and straight back to work. 🎂🥟

Running a small business means long days, early mornings and sometimes wondering what day of the week it actually is. 😂 But this little morning routine is becoming our time to recharge before the madness begins. ❤️
Now… coffee, please. ☕😂

💥 SATURDAY WAS ABSOLUTELY BOOMBASTIC! 💥

What a day at Thetford Lower Market! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came over, stopped for a chat, waved hello, or sat down at our tables and enjoyed a meal with us. 🥰
This Saturday we met so many new people, including visitors from other towns — and some of the conversations genuinely made our day. 🇱🇹❤️ We talked about Lithuania and listened to your stories about how much they loved visiting Vilnius, Trakai, Nida and other beautiful places.
Hugs, handshakes, familiar faces, new faces and BIG smiles… 🥹
That’s the part of market days we love the most.
Of course, seeing our displays getting emptier and emptier throughout the day wasn’t bad either! 😄🙌
