So, tomorrow is the 1st of December and that can only mean one thing ... time for me to leave the country... erm, I mean our Christmas selection is available to order. Ordering can start from tomorrow, and collection can start from the 8th. The cut off date for ordering all our Christmas range will be Saturday 17th December, but the usual bread and cakes can be ordered after that point. Prices are as follows : Mince pies 75p ( £4.50 for the 6 pack ), yule logs £6.50, Christmas slice £1.40, 6 inch Christmas cake £15, 8 inch Christmas cake £19. The cakes and the slices have marzipan and icing on the top.

In order to allow our staff to pay their respects in the way they wish on the day of the funeral , we will be closed on Monday 19th. We will be back open on Tuesday as normal. Many thanks.

Morning everyone. We have had notices up in the shop for a while now advising that we will be closed from monday 29th August for the week ( 2 weeks today ). This is the same as last year, and is to give us some time off after a busy year. Thank you so much for your custom and hope you are enjoying the warm weather 🙂

Hello all. To make our customers aware , we will be closed on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd June for the Jubilee Bank Holiday. We will be open as usual on the Saturday. We have taken this decision because we are sick of the sight of the staff ... erm ... I mean because they have worked hard and deserve to celebrate the occasion ( think I got away with that one !! ) . We hope everyone has a great time :)

Hey all. Just to let people know over this bank holiday weekend , we are open 7 till 2 Friday , normal hours Saturday , closed Sunday and Monday.

When we took over ownership of the bakery the shops prices were due to be increased .... then came the pandemic and it felt wrong to increase prices at the exact time people were struggling. 25 months later we have had 3 wage increases , 4 flour price rises , many other ingredients have been increased significantly. We have tried to absorb these increases as much as we can ... but with the ridiculous energy price hike ( which for businesses is not capped like the domestic prices ... and some have seen an increase of 500% ) , and the fuel increase we can`t keep absorbing the costs. So sadly from tomorrow ( 04/04/22 ) we have to put our prices up. Thank you for your understanding in these difficult times. On a slightly different note , Hot Cross Buns are now available for those who have been asking :)

Well , it has arrived. The last day of the year for us being open. Another really hard year both professionally and personally. Our staff are amazing .. they have kept us going through tough times , thank you guys. Our customers ... you too are amazing ( tiny bit scary at times too lol ) thank you all x . Last but not least , my wife and my rock has kept me going through everything this year has thrown at us .. thank you x . Merry Christmas everyone , and hopefully a happier new year ❤
