What a weekend we've just had! Dorset's first taste of FlipnFast and there were so many happy 'free from' folks 😍

My highlight was definitely making a crepe for my sister and watching her perform for the first time in over 20 years. The Polly Morris Music band is INCREDIBLE. Talented Kate played bass, flute and the piano (though the piano was mostly brought to life by Brian, our lovely host for the weekend at the Allendale Centre, Wimborne).

Thank you to everyone who supported us this weekend, and of course thank you to the crew - two Eds with dreads!! Plenty of crepes and smiles all round.

And of course it's always fantastic to be reunited with my hounds after I've left them - they had a lovely time at Picklesandcodogboarding by all accounts.

Earlier on before the crowds arrived... Gorgeous blue skies at Wimborne Minster Folk Festival.

We're so far South that folk don't know us here. We have had many delighted gluten free and vegan customers who can't believe they can eat anything they like from the menu!

Our berries this weekend are beautiful... So much flavour. Since relocating, we've discovered Teme Valley Farm Shop who source from local producers. We're now buying our fruit and veg from them, so when you buy our crepes you're supporting local producers around the West Midlands 🍓🥬🫐

Things are getting really scary for those of us who do not tick the heteronormative box, especially those of us who don't look like we tick the heteronormative box. More so for those of us who don't tick the white heteronormative box. More so for those who dare to live outside the biological categories dictated by outdated science from 100+ years ago.

So Pride matters more than ever, community and support matter more than ever.

Councils are taking down flags and removing funding.

We came back up North for our fifth (I think) Butler Day, and this pic shows why I knew it would be worth the trip! Mr O'Malley kept the queue entertained too 🧡

We also spent a few hours at ... Our first time there but we had a queue from start to finish.

For many years, my musician sister has been telling me that our crepes would go down a storm in Wimborne, so it's time to find out!

From the 12th to 14th we will be pitched up outside , who have kindly offered to host us for the weekend.

We will be serving our sweet & savoury crepes and ice-cream... As always 100% gluten free, dairy free, nut free and vegan.

I hope we're super busy, but I also hope that I can escape for a little while so that I can see my sister performing with . As I've been in the North and the play on the south coast, it will be a first for me!

We'll be in the pink horsebox, you can't miss us 🍓🍫🍌🍦

Holy crepe!! The weather has been awesome (though we were somewhat overheating working at the crepe rings the last couple of days), the people as always have been absolutely delightful and the FlipnFast team absolutely smashed it.

We always love this festival. It's so much easier to stand and make crepes for 15 hours when our customers are so lovely.

We hope to be back next year 💚

This weekend's team are wonderful and we're all enjoying soaking in the chilled out happy vibes from everyone here while we flip our 'free from' crepes.
