I’ve had the pleasure and the privilege of making SO many beautiful wedding cakes over the past 14 years, each one of them different and unique in their own ways. It has truly been an amazing journey, I’ve met so many people, made lots of friends and learnt skills I never thought I would master. As the season slows down and the year comes towards its end, my life has changed immeasurably and I’m grateful for every single thing. It’s never been easy and I’ve grafted to get to where I am, and as hard as it was to get here, it’s even harder to give it up.
I’m beyond grateful to everyone who gave me a chance, believed in me and literally paid hard earned money for me. Thank you.
You already know I am stepping away from the business full time soon to pursue a different path but I do want to keep my hand in and keep my skill level up so will still be taking on random orders that either mean something to me or will test my creativity. I do still have weddings to complete next year that have been booked for a while so I’m not disappearing completely. Whilst this will no longer be my life or my occupation, it will become a creative outlet and a foot in the door that hadn’t completely slammed shut.
So the page will remain open and quietly active. And whilst it’s unlikely I’ll keep the website open, I will be available if you’d like to explore the option of a truly special cake with me.
Also as a final thank you I will be putting up a little offer later to truly give something back to this amazing little community and hopefully be able to still play a small part in your upcoming special occasions.
