On behalf of the Teignmouth BakeHouse I would like to apologise for the 'Disruption' you may have noticed in the last few weeks.
What a lot of customers don't know is we are a 'Small Teignmouth Family Run Business' & although we don't promote the fact, all that much, as a family we have 3 businesses in Teignmouth. A wholesale company - 'Devonshire Made' (making fudge, biscuits, ice-cream and more 🤤) which delivers to the majority of Devon. A Beach and Gift Shop 'Teignmouth Rock and Fudge' in the Triangle & The BakeHouse. We love this Town that is why our operations are all here, to support our community!
But this being said as a family run business - Me, My Partner, Our Boys and their Partners, with the great help of our skeleton crew of 4 or 5 we try our best to keep everything afloat.
This is not a statement for any pity 😋 but just to help understand the recent disruption ❤️.
We do get fantastic offers of additional staff ❤️ and we would like to thank everyone who has applied! 🙏
But unfortunately this being such a multi faceted business means the role varies greatly, it is hot, sweaty, demanding work with very little reward... which is why we fully understand the role isn't for everyone! and you do have to be a certain type of person to thrive in these conditions 😂
But from the bottom of all our Hearts thank you for your continued support and custom ❤️
