Green Goblins

Green Goblins The Green Goblins is a tabletop gaming club that is held Friday's at the Riverside Church in Taunton. First week at the club for new members is free.

We cater for all ages, having several volunteers in the group, all of which are DBS checked. In addition, we have Child Protection Officers, and qualified first aiders on site at all times. Membership is free, however a weekly fee of £3.00 applies to enter. The site is wheelchair accessible, and have use of the on-site disabled facilities. We have a tuck shop, run weekly which sells:

Hot and

cold drinks,
Crisps,
Biscuits,
Confectionery

Hello everyone,
We have heard that there may be an unplanned protest march in Taunton today, near East Reach, around 3pm.
Following the recent riots that have broken out, we urge everyone to do what they can to remain safe and lawful.

Hello everyone,
This is just a short message to say that people may notice PCSO's (Police Community Support Officers) start attending the club in the coming weeks. This is nothing to worry about as they would like to see what we as a club organise.
The club has always had an open door policy with the police, and I have recently re-sent an open invitation to the police as a reminder to them.

Hello everyone,
This Easter holiday (7th & 14th) we are once agian receiving funding from the council (Community Inclusion Activity Team), and as such we are required to record a separate register of those that attend (see below image). This is because the funding is aimed at young people with disabilities. We will also be taking a few photos which the council would like to use within their reports and on their social media.
Please note that we will be asking everyone for permission for these photos and whether they are happy for the photo to appear on social media. You are not required to be included in the photo if you do not want to.
If you are happy to have your photo taken but do not want it to appear on social media then we will mark the photo as such.
If you wish to know any additional information then please feel free to contact me.

This week we are once agian receiving funding from the council (Community Inclusion Activity Team), and as such we are required to record a separate register of those that attend (see below image). Hello Everyone,
Next Wednesday, the 25th, we shall be holding our Annual General Meeting (AGM) at 7:00pm at the Riverside Church for about an hour.
This is open to all members as we will be voting in our committee members as well as discussing the how the various parts of the club are run.
If you are interested in coming along, please react to this message so we have a rough view of the numbers.
If you cannot make it, but would like anything raised, then please message me and I will ensure it is discussed.

Hello everyone,
Just a quick reminder that this Friday is our last club night for the year.
As such we will be having a Christmas buffet.
We do ask that anyone who has any special dietary needs to also bring themselves a small plate of food.
If you do not have dietary needs but would also like to bring a small plate of food to share then we welcome it though it is not necessary.
On behalf of all the volunteers, I would like to wish everyone a great Christmas and thank you for your support throughout the year.
