To our wonderful customers!
This week will be our last trading as Barry the Baker, sadly the time has come to close and enjoy retirement.
Attached are a few pictures, we will leave you to guess the identities.
Barry the Baker began trading in 1977, previously Tarrs Bakery where Barry was manager. He soon enlisted his sons Jason and James at weekends and during school holidays, despite several failed attempts to escape, they were eventually to take over the business.
During the last few years we have evolved to suit the needs of our customer, introducing the Sandwich rounds and during covid a home delivery service whilst keeping traditional recipes for our bread, cakes and buns.
It is with a heavy heart that we close our business this week but some well earned rest is overdue.
We would like to extend our Thanks to you all for your loyalty and continued custom over the years.
Finally we would like to thank all our staff past and present without your hard work and commitment we could not have continued trading for so long
