It is with sadness that I have decided to close my little business Helen The Cake Lady 🎂 😞. It's been a difficult decision but I've gradually lost my love of baking whilst not enjoying working long hours into the night to create the perfect cake. Due to my other work and family commitments, as well as the cost of ingredients, supplies,insurance etc, it just made sense to wrap it all up.
I'd like to thank all my customers and followers for all the support you have given me over the past 20+ years and I truly hope my cakes made fantastic memories on your special occasions.
One day I may start up again but for now I have turned off my oven and hung up my apron. It's time to spend more time with my family and friends.

It's been a whilst since I posted, appologies for the recent silence. I started a new job in February which means I don't have many cake hours in my week anymore, but I will always fit them in where I can.
This week I had the honour to create this wonderful My little pony Rainbow cake and i was touched to receive this lovely testimonial which makes my job feel worthwhile. ❤️

Wow! Wow! Wow! Helen made a 3 layered 'my little pony' themed rainbow cake
for my daughter's birthday. It was stunning! So bright and the piping was spectacular. Everyone was amazed by it! Boxed and wrapped
beautifully. We went for a lemon cake and it was delicious with Lemon buttercream and lemon curd. It fed the whole party and luckily I still
have some left for my coffee break today. Great communication with Helen. Easy to order. Will be ordering again for the next event. Thank
you.
