Firstly I would like to thank you for choosing Wendelightful cakes. I look forward to creating something wonderful for your special occasion. Deposit
A deposit is taken on booking your cake, please note that until the deposit is received your cake is not booked in. The balance of the cake is due the day before collection, preferably by bank
transfer. Wedding cake balances are due 2 weeks before the event. If an order is accepted at short notice then full payment will be required. Please note that the cake will not be released or delivered until full payment is received. Cancellations
In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your cake, please note that your deposit cannot be refunded. this is because other business has probably been turned away and items may well have been bought already for your cake. Design
All cakes are designed individually and creations will be made as closely as possible to pictures provided, bearing in mind that there will be slight variations out of respect for the original cake artist and to ensure your cake is unique to you or your special someone. It may not be possible to create certain characters e.g.. Mickey Mouse as they are liable to copyright laws, however figures can be purchased to place on the cake. Collection/Delivery
Your order may be collected at a specified time made by myself the day before collection. Failure to collect will result in your cake being re sold or raffled off to another customer. Once your cake has left my possession you will assume responsibility for the condition of the cake. Wendelightful cakes are not liable for damage due to client handling once the cake has been picked up or delivered. If your cake is damaged after it is in your possession, we will assess the damages and may if circumstances allow, offer to fix the cake for you. If we have to travel to you to repair your cake mileage fees will be applied. In addition further costs may be incurred depending on the severity of the damage to the cake. On collection your cake should be transported either flat in your boot or in the footwell of the passenger seat of
your car and must be kept out of direct sunlight. It may be worth purchasing a non slip mat to place the box onto. Under no circumstances should your cake be transported on your lap or on a car seat. Wedding Cake Delivery
Delivery of wedding cakes will be provided as agreed. It is your responsibility to ensure that all set up details and arrangements have been confirmed with the venue and Wendelightful Cakes. All wedding cakes will be delivered and set up at the venue and a photograph taken and sent to the customer. Whenever it is possible a signature will be taken of a responsible person verifying that it has been left in immaculate order. Please ensure that the location of the display table is on a flat level surface and away from direct sunlight. Once the cake has been set up and signed for Wendelightful cakes is unable to accept liability for any damage or interference with the condition of the cake thereafter. Allergies
Clients are responsible for notifying Wendelightful cakes of any dietary requirements prior to placing an order. Cakes are made in an environment where soy, egg, gluten, dairy, nuts and other allergens may be present. When specified by the client Wendelightful cakes will take due care to keep allergy prone ingredients out of the kitchen area. Details of any allergens within your bake will be provided with your order. No responsibility is taken by Wendelightful cakes for allergic reactions after advise has been supplied. Non Edible Items
Many cakes contain food safe non edible items, which may include but are not limited to dowels, florist wire, ribbons, straws etc. You will be advised of the placement of such items. however it is your responsibility to ensure that your venue/caterer/guests are aware that these items should be removed prior to consumption. Fresh Flowers
Wendelightful cakes will only use from the non toxic lists. These will have been laid on /inserted into the cake with wrapped stems and posy picks/straws. All flowers should be handled with care and removed before serving. Disputes/Refunds
All sales are final. In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your cake Wendelightful cakes must be informed with 24 hours of pick up or delivery in order that any compensation may be assessed. Wendelightful cakes will offer a discount on a future order if at least 3/4 of the product is available and returned to us. Any refund given for disputes regarding a cake design or production of a design are at the discretion of Wendelightful cakes. Full refunds will not be given for any cake which has been consumed regardless of dispute, as consumption of the cake is viewed as acceptance that the cake is adequate for the purpose for which it has been supplied. Social Media
Wendelightful cakes reserves the right to use photographs of cakes made by them for advertising purposes, marketing and promotion of the business. This will include social media for example Facebook, instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. We will not publish pictures until after your celebration so that we do not spoil your big reveal. Reviews

When you contact Wendelightful cakes about ordering a cake, we have to collect a small amount of data, usually your name and contact details. If you pay by online banking we do not hold your bank/card details or have access to them in any way. We will never share any of your personal details with any other company.
