The salon is open, the cake shed is open. Why not treat yourself to a pamper, a bake or even both? It is treat week after all! And if you have an appointment at the salon this week there’s complimentary brownies and £2 off cake shed gift cards, so check out the website or their Instagram profile for booking details.

The cake shed has revised opening hours this week as part of our treat week. Check out our video for the full menu today. There’s a golden ticket bake in the shed right now and it’s free to whoever finds it when they open the shed. More will be added throughout the week.

It’s treat week next week in collaboration with Eighteen Hair and Beauty in Tamworth. They’re having a treat week at the salon giving away our brownies during appointments as well as discount vouchers for our cake shed, so make sure you book in with their salon to enjoy an extra treat - check their socials and website details here .ludgate ! To prepare for treat week we’re closed this weekend and opening again on Monday and we have treats of our own to pamper our clients - including free mini treat bakes for each transaction over £10 and we’re introducing dipping boxes, mixed treat boxes as well as golden ticket bakes popping up in our shed at random times. So if you open the shed door and see one, it’s your free treat to take home!

Visit the shed during opening hours at 25 Buxton Avenue Fazeley B78 3RP

Back in June I created this 40th anniversary cake in a bright colour scheme to match room decoration and invites in a hand piped Lambeth style. This cake was a huge 10 inch 3 layer red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream finish and stemmed glace cherries.

I didn’t get my own photos so have edited out my background (and most photos are before I added the cherries) and my customer kindly provided some too so thank you for that ❤️

I didn’t manage to get great photos of this one (too many shadows and not enough light 🫣) but I wanted to share it as this is a cake I won’t be making very often at all! I lovely couple celebrated an Amazon 75th!!! Wedding anniversary last week and the occasion was marked with this traditional fruit cake finished with marzipan and icing, artificial poppies and silver ribbons and edible lettering.
