Bit of an honest one🫣
We've been a bit quiet on the socials this month, along with taking a step back from orders, markets, teaching and of course the bakery.
The past couple of months really have been an emotional rollercoaster, and we all decided it was best to step away from the business for a bit and to just process what has happened.
Today I had my first wedding of 2024, and it's cakes like this that remind me why I set up this business. To turn food into edible art is what I enjoy best, and it's always an honour to be a part of someone's special day.
I will be spending the rest of the week catching up on the inbox, and when I am ready to open the bakery soon I will let you all know.
My biggest goal in life was to open a bakery, and as my mum said to me the other day, it is my dream, not anyone elses, and I refuse for that to be ruined.
I have sorted the staff out now- thank you so much to everyone who came forward to offer their help!
As always I will keep you posted, more so now I am back into the swing of things 🙂
P.s. I also want to say a big thank you to my youngest brother Danny, who has really saved the day lately and kept the business going
