Well, that was it. It’s a wrap !! All cakes in my planner completed.
My last, possibly last ever wedding cake was delivered today. It was set up for a really lovely couple, Lucy and Steve, the now Mr and Mrs Gotham at the beautiful Official Craig y Nos Castle, one of my favourite wedding venues ( pictures to follow). 🥲
This has been an easy but painful decision for me to make. Not one I ever thought I would have to make, but not everything in life goes to plan.
I’ve had so many messages asking why I’m finishing so I thought I will be honest. For those of you who don’t know, my amazing husband has a severe, progressive lung condition. It’s now time to concentrate on him and our future, whatever that may hold in store. He has always supported me, been my driver and my muscle and my biggest critic, always honest., too honest lol It’s now my turn to support him.
It’s been the best ever couple of years making wedding and celebration cakes for my customers, many of whom I call friends.
Thank you all so very much for your support, it’s meant the world to me.
