☀️And that is the end of my summer break ☀️

Taking time off is something a bit scary when you’re self employed and run a business but it’s been lovely to spend some quality time with my family and just have that down time 😊☀️🌊❤️🌿

Back to work tomorrow and just in time to be baking through another heatwave 🥵😂🎂 impeccable timing for me ☀️

I posted these on my stories earlier this week and had the biggest reaction to them - more replies and comments and hearts than on anything 😂🥹💕
So it’s only right they get a little place on the grid!
I never talk about pricing really as it’s personal to the customer more than anything - they may not want people to know what they have paid 👀🫣
But I think something like this, especially the cupcakes with the toppers that take hours, can be a real talking point!
So tell me - what do you think the price of these were?
The cake is 6” and 6 cupcakes with handmade toppers
If you’re a cake maker what would you charge?
If you’re a customer what would you pay?
Not sure I should open this up as I’ve seen some brutal pricing trolling on other platforms 👀😂 but I’m interested in peoples response.
I’ll make a reel of price and breakdown of the time and costs when I get chance after the responses ☺️🤗

A little update from me - I’m now only taking orders for cakes that match cardi’s my mum makes me 🙊😍🩷❤️

I’ve had a few new people follow along lately so here’s a quick catch up for you all…….
I’m Amelia, 41, proud mum of 4, met my husband in the navy and moved to sunny Swansea with him, started a family and one day my mum sent me down a Disney baking book and I started baking from then - and the rest, as they say, is history 🤗
Here we are 13 years later and it’s blossomed into something I’m really proud of 🩷🎂
When I’m not baking you’ll find me going/watching/supporting/taxi-ing my children in their sports, acting and passions - my fave pastime watching them thrive and enjoy 🥹 (also love a good book and if you watch my stories you know I love a bit of true crime whilst caking 😵‍💫😂😬)
This years been a challenge with the business at times as I had a really quiet few months and who knows what the future holds but for now, if you need a cake - give me a shout 🤗
(If you could arrange the date so it’s not during a heatwave though I’d be V.grateful as this weeks been hell 🥵🫠😂)
Anyway, thanks for being here and supporting me - has meant and still means the world ☺️❤️
