I think it’s time I introduce myself…

Hi, I’m Chelle — the baker behind Sea Salt & Butter Bakehouse… your new seaside spot for buttery bakes, sea salt cookies, and a little bit of American magic.

Here’s what you can expect:
🍪 Sea salt cookies
🧁 Gourmet cupcakes
🥐 American scones & gooey cinnamon rolls
🥧 Flaky hand pies
🐶 Pupcakes & dog cookies (because pups deserve bakery days too)
🥤 Fun, unique American drinks you won’t find anywhere else

Basically… butter, sugar, sea air… and happiness.

A little about me…
I graduated culinary school in 2013 as a single mum and completely fell in love with making specialty cakes. Big ones. Over-the-top ones. The kind that make people stop and stare.

That passion took me all the way to competing on international TV (yes… really!) and eventually opening my very first bakery. It was my dream… and I poured my whole heart into it.

Life had a few plot twists (as it does), and I closed that bakery at 27. But baking never really left me… it just simmered quietly in the background while I learned, grew, and figured out who I really was as a baker.

Fast forward to last year…
I reinvented myself and opened Sutton-on-Sea’s very first honesty box bakery. It was small, charming, and full of heart. Then through a series of very complicated events… Daily Fetch took a little paws 🐾

But here’s the thing…
Sometimes a pause is just a preheat.

Because after learning SO much about Lincolnshire, small business, and building something the right way… I went back to the drawing board, refined everything, and got ready for something even better.

And now… I’m back.
Excited. Inspired. And ready to bake.

Sea Salt & Butter Bakehouse is my fresh start — a cozy, fun, all-American seaside bakery built from scratch. And the best part? Daily Fetch will have its own little space inside too.

Bread…until I have the capacity to bake it fresh from our place, we are looking to bring it in from another local Bakery that specialises in high quality REAL bread. We will update once those connections. I would much rather support another small business and be able to provide bread to the community than make you wait till we can serve you correctly.

Hi everyone 👋💛

It’s been a little while, and after closing The Daily Fetch I really took some time to breathe, reset, and reflect on what this past year taught me.

Running a small business, dealing with local decisions, and navigating everything behind the scenes opened my eyes in ways I never expected. I learned A LOT — about myself, about resilience, and yes… about how our little corner of the world actually works.

So even though The Daily Fetch has officially closed its doors, my story isn’t finished.
Not even close.

I’ve been quietly working on something new.
Something totally different.
Something that honestly feels like the next right chapter.

I’ll be sharing more soon, but for now, thank you — for every message, every bit of love, and every ounce of support. You’ve carried me through a huge transition, and I can’t wait to take you with me into what’s coming next. 💛

A new chapter is on the way… stay tuned. 🌊✨

This isn’t THE big announcement… but I felt like it needed to be shared. I am so thankful for the small but mighty community that surrounded Fetch…
Thank you so much for making me feel like I belonged here when a certain group definitely tried to make me feel like I didn’t. ( more on that later )

This is the end of The Daily Fetch… but NOT me or my contributions to this community that I still support and appreciate.

Now I just have more time to focus on just that…
