My story
For those of you who don't know me. I'm Nikki, I live in Sutton in Ashfield and I bake from home. I started baking in 2020, because I needed something to keep my mind occupied during lockdown. I gave my bakes to my neighbours and family. I was then asked to make several cakes including a wedding cake.
My Vegan bakes came about after a friend at work asked me. It turns out I am pretty good at this, despite not being vegan. As I started making more cakes, I realised I needed to register with the Council. As although I wasn't selling the cakes for profit, I was making quite a few. I got my 5* rating last year and after being rather ill for 6 months, I am in a position to start baking again. So I make cakes or bakes for people who ask me. I honestly didn't expect many people to see this page, I thought a few of my friends would look but otherwise no one else would see it. So I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my story and look at my page.
