And we’re back!

I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas and New Year! We took some time off, and I’m so glad I did as we all ended up with the horrible cold/flu and think my youngest may have even caught Covid!

But 2024 is here and I am can’t wait to get your lovely orders made!

I am also happy to do fondant cakes again! Taking a wee break was what I needed and I can’t wait to share with you my most recent fondant cake!

Created a lovely set of pink cuppies with cute little coffee beans for a coffee lover this weekend! Only two days notice on these as my lovely client was unfortunately let down but I think these turned out fabulous!

I created each ruffle by hand from fondant, and I definitely underestimated how long this would take 🥴 but the end result was well worth it!

Jenna and Marc chose a trio of biscoff, chocolate and coffee for their tiers!

Announcement 🩷

After much consideration and going back and forth about this I have decided to specialise in buttercream cakes and no longer offer a fondant base.

This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time as I personally just don’t enjoy making them. However I love working with buttercream and I love the look that buttercream achieves.

I will still be able to create gorgeous cakes for you all, fondant figures and decor is still available and look fabulous on buttercream cakes!

Just like this little guy on a cake I’ve sent out today that I can’t wait to share with you!

I hope you all understand and support me in this, but I think it’s really important that I am doing something I really love than something that causes me lots of anxiety and sleepless nights!
